Fridays 11am-12:00pm
The senior Stick & Puck program is a self-directed ice time that allows older adults to work on basic stick/puck activities. ****NO SHINNY IS PERMITTED****
Participants can independently practice their skills, shoot around the puck, shoot on the net, pass the puck and practice their hockey skills. Senior Stick & Puck program is the perfect fix to be on the ice and enjoy some of the finer skills of hockey, stick handling, passing and shooting.
Rules:
- No organized/structured hockey games
- No slap shots are permitted
- CSA-approved helmet required
Assumption of Risk:
Skaters and spectators are deemed to have knowledge of and assume the inherent risks including, but not limited to; injuries that result from:
- falls, collisions or contact with other individuals on the ice surface
- objects or artificial structures that are within the intended path of travel of the skater
- ice conditions that may change over the course of the session due to temperature, weather and skater traffic
Note: No Parent & Tot or Senior Skates/Stick & Puck on Statutory
Holidays or other scheduled events.
