The senior Stick & Puck program is a self-directed ice time that allows older adults to work on basic stick/puck activities. ****NO SHINNY IS PERMITTED****
Participants can independently practice their skills, shoot around the puck, shoot on the net, pass the puck and practice their hockey skills. Senior Stick & Puck program is the perfect fix to be on the ice and enjoy some of the finer skills of hockey, stick handling, passing and shooting.
Rules:
No organized/structured hockey games
No slap shots are permitted
CSA-approved helmet required
Assumption of Risk:
Skaters and spectators are deemed to have knowledge of and assume the inherent risks including, but not limited to; injuries that result from:
falls, collisions or contact with other individuals on the ice surface
objects or artificial structures that are within the intended path of travel of the skater
ice conditions that may change over the course of the session due to temperature, weather and skater traffic
